Exhale is a series of 17 paintings rendered in meticulous detail, an arduous process that combines scrupulous observation, fine brushwork and delicate layers of glaze. Geddes’ work generates a tension between man-made environments in flux and the fragility of living bodies.

This umbrella-shaped street lamp by London designer Samuel Wilkinson has a crystal-covered canopy. Installed on a corner of Old Street in London, the 4.5-metre-tall Ommatidium sculpture features 1,500 faceted crystal lenses and is named after the individual parts that make up the compound eyes of many insects.
